FLEXPOSTs are the long-term solution for ongoing sign maintenance problems in areas where signposts are vulnerable to traffic and other hazards. Flexpost's spring assembly allows uniform flexibility when hit from any angle. Even when completely driven over, Flexposts easily return to their original position leaving minimal, if any, scratches on most vehicles. Flexposts are ideal for handicap, fire lane, directional, and special-use signage such as Expectant Mother, Short Term Parking, and Loading Zone.

The FLEXPOST system is designed to handle any street legal metal sign and withstand wind loads. We offer three separate ground attachment systems: concrete, blacktop, and natural terrain. We also offer customized design solutions for any situation.

Flexpost uses American Made SS20 galvanized steel tubing, which out-performs mill structural tubing in both strength and corrosion resistance.

SS20 is manufactured from high tensile steel and is cold-formed to produce tubing of exceptional strength.

A uniform application of zinc, conversion coating, and a clear organic top coat gives SS20 a long-lasting superior exterior finish that will not flake or craze.

Post and Base Includes:
  • 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" E-Coated 7 gauge square steel base with textured powder-coat top finish, pre-drilled with four 1/2" holes.
  • 6.25" long tight wound torsion spring with a 1.66" inside diameter, made of 1/2" diameter carbon steel wire.
  • 1-5/8" outside diameter SS20 galvanized steel tubing.
  • Height above grade 78”
  • Post secured to spring and base with 1/2" aluminum tear-away bolt on top, and 1/2" stainless steel bolt on bottom.

Concrete Ground Mounting Includes:

  • Four 1/2" stainless steel concrete expandable studs, with four 1/2" nylon insert lock nuts, and four 1/2" washers.

Asphalt Ground Mounting Includes:

  • 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" E-coated 7 gauge steel square plate, textured powder-coat top finish with 18" asphalt spike anchor.
  • Four 1/2" stainless steel permanent threaded bolts that secure to standard base.
  • Four 1/2" stainless steel washers and nylon insert lock nuts.
  • Four 1/4" x 3" tapcon asphalt screws for insertion to asphalt adapter's pre-drilled holes that provide horizontal wind load rigidity.
  • Just hammer anchor into ground. Then set standard base onto asphalt base and tighten provided nuts and washers.

Unpaved Ground Mounting Includes:

  • 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" E-coated 7 gauge steel square plate, textured powder-coat top finish with 18" asphalt spike anchor.
  • Four 1/2" stainless steel permanent threaded bolts that secure to standard base.
  • Four 1/2" stainless steel washers and nylon insert lock nuts.
